About
I am Anaïs Lera, a French Illustrator and Muralist currently living in Vancouver, Canada. Originally from the South of France, I spent my childhood between the mountains and the ocean. As a kid with a passion for biology, I explored my surroundings with a microscope —a playful study that has profoundly shaped my artistic practice.
My work sits at the intersection of illustration and design. I’m interested in projects that centre around themes of nature and exploration. I specialize in vibrant, intricate otherworldly ecosystems, toeing the line between science and fiction. My portfolio contains vivid, intricate compositions filled with flora and fauna from beyond the earth’s dimension.
I have collaborated with international galleries and clients, including Oxford Properties Group, Grosvenor Group, the Vancouver Mural Festival, BUMP Mural Festival, the City of Vancouver, the City of Surrey, Downtown Royal Centre, the City of Ghent (Belgium), the Alliance Francaise, CIBC, and NASA.
