The mural supports the Surrey Nature Centre’s programs, such as Awesome Amphibians, through playful, educational imagery of clearly identifiable native species. It focuses on the forest floor, a vital, layered space where plants and animals interact and drive the forest’s life cycle. Native plants, amphibians, insects, mushrooms, and trees are rendered in accurate colors that blend with the surrounding landscape.
